Abstract

Rice milling industry in India has a long history of development. Rice processing industry is therefore, important as it converts paddy into edible rice. Socio-economic status affects the performance of the industry. one of most effected factor of rice mill industry family economic status of the rice mill owners or organiser in the industry The objective of a rice milling system is to remove the husk and the bran layers from paddy rice to produce whole white rice kernels that are sufficiently milled, free of impurities and contain a minimum number of broken kernels.
