A STUDY OF AWARENESS ABOUT MOOCS (SWAYAM) AMONG THE HIGHER STUDENTS OF ALLAHABAD UNIVERSITY

MOOCs are the internet based educational initiative which are aimed at to the larger participation of learners and maximum reach to the qualitative education. This study was aimed at to find out the awareness of students about MOOCs. The population of this study covered the post-graduation students of Allahabad University those were enrolled in professional and non-professional courses. The sample this study was 200 students of Allahabad university those were selected by the random sampling method. Researcher has used the self-made questionnaire for examine the awareness about the MOOCs. Results of this study shows that the students of professional courses are more aware than the non-professional course students about the UGC MOOCs SWAYAM program.
