The purpose of this research paper is to recognise the policy and challenges of CSR in India. To overcome the corporate social responsibility challenges certain recommendations have been made further in this study. The research paper is an attempt to explore and investigate the research based upon ancillary data sourced from journals, articles, and media reports and web sources. The research design engaged for this study is of descriptive type. The study has shown major factors to overcome the corporate social responsibility (CSR) challenges at large. Main findings of the work done are the recommendations made on various factors affecting the principles of CSR which will work as an addition to the effectiveness of CSR programs. The study is useful for public at large, various small scale, large scale companies, business organisations and research areas. Various factors that will lead to increase in efficiency of CSR have been added in this study like focus of companies in balancing the CSR activities by equally considering them. It additionally offers a vision as to at what level the corporations can follow the corporate social responsibilities.
