Abstract

With flexi-working hours in place these days many women have taken up work. Currently the women employees constitute one-third of the total workforce in the BPO sector. Owing to the optimistic opportunities in the BPO sector provided by the labor ministry, organization and the welfare associations of the central and state governments many women have begun to work in India. In the present study the researcher studies women BPO employees working in day and night shift to draw the scientific attention and to test whether working in shifts brings about any change in the lifestyle.
