Abstract

LGBTQIA is an umbrella of various identities who like to dissent from stereotypical binary construct of gender and sex. This paper will reveal insights about various aspects of LGBT life through a pilot survey. The paper is the result of a pilot study carried out in national capital Delhi with objectives to study the socio-economic status of LGBT people living in Delhi, to study the societal constraints faced by them, and to study the nature of LGBT relationships and their internal issues. A sample of n= “75” is collected using purposive sampling method from each category of LGBT community.
