Abstract

The critical situations handed in the professional setup become a major part of the life of a nurse, so that their life and job satisfaction can be influenced by their performance, which in term expected to be contributed by their emotional intelligence. The present study is focused on the relationship between emotional intelligence and work/family conflict. The sample of the study consisted of nurses from Kerala. The total sample size of the research was 250 nurses. The result shows that there is a significant correlation between emotional intelligence and work/family conflict.
