ORGANISATIONAL CLIMATE- A STUDY OF HYDROPOWER PROJECTS IN HIMACHAL PRADESH

Abstract

The present study is an attempt to measure the organisational climate of the two hydropower projects in Himachal Pradesh. The main focus of the present study was to examine the perceptions of the employees regarding the organisational climate prevailing in the Hydropower projects. The study was confined to two major Hydropower projects i.e. Bhakra Beas management Board and Nathpa Jhakri Hydro Power Projects, which are joint venture of Government of India. A sample was drawn of 404 employees (284 employees from BBMB and 120 employees from NJHEP) working in two hydropower power projects in Himachal Pradesh. The respondents were randomly selected from different technical and administrative departments of the projects.
