ANTECEDENTS OF E-BANKING SERVICES IN THE TRI-CITY, CHANDIGARH: AN EMPIRICAL STUDY

Abstract

Digitalization has been a part of the banking services in India over a decades now. However, improvements and advancements are constantly practiced by the Indian Banks. Recently, “Convenience Banking” or “Anywhere Banking” and many more terms associates with Indian Banking Industry. In this paper an attempt has been made to understand the antecedents of E-Banking Services among the customers in the Tri-city, Chandigarh. The data has been collected through questionnaire method from 100 participants through online mode regarding various services offered by the banks. Convenience sampling method has been applied. The results of the study reflects an insightful opinions of the respondents over a widespread demographic profile.
