Abstract

This article study about Xenophobia among the migrant workers with reference to covid-19: some observation. Alongside with the plight of the COVID-19 epidemic in 2020 come the xenophobic behaviors and hate crimes against people with Asian descent around the globe. The threat of a public health emergency catalyzed underlying xenophobic sentiments, manifesting them into racial discrimination of various degrees. Various forms of racism and xenophobia can be found in all societies. This Article is concerned with contemporary xenophobic elements relating to migrant workers.

Article 1 of the International Convention on the Elimination of All Forms of Racial Discrimination, adopted by UN General Assembly resolution 2106 A (XX) on 21 December 1965 and entering into force on 4 January 1969.
