Abstract

Quality education is critical for a country's overall development of its human capital base. This allows students to acquire the necessary knowledge, skills, and values. Faculty serves as the primary source and tool for accomplishing this. In today's setting, where professional B institutes have grown exponentially over the last two decades, an imbalance has developed between the demand for skilled and trained faculty and the availability of such faculty. Recruitment and retention of skilled faculty become critical in this situation.
