COMPARISON OF STRESS TOLERANCE BETWEEN ATHLETIC AND NON- ATHLETIC STUDENTS

Abstract

The aim of this study is comparison Stress Tolerance between athletic and non-athletic students of Department of Education Chaudhary Charan Singh University, Meerut And Department of Physical Education Chaudhary Charan Singh University, Meerut. On this base 80 athlete students and 80 non athlete students selected cluster randomly as samples. For data collection The Stress Tolerance Questionnaire developed by Welle & Graf, 2011. All data collected were assessed by using One-Way Analysis of Variance and independent t test. Statistical significance was conferred at P = 0.05. All statistical analysis was accomplished using SPSS (v 16). The results of this research showed that there are significant differences between athletes and Non- athletes in Stress Tolerance (P < 0.05).
