In India, Child Marriage is known as the social evil that is deeply embedded in its society due to customs and traditions exist for various centauries. Now the legislation prohibiting Child marriage has come into existence, but they are vested with a lot of inconsistencies and contradictions with respect to personal laws. In the present paper, the researcher has considered various provisions and cases of different high courts and supreme court to understand the contradictions between such legislations.
