Abstract

Green marketing is not a novel concept that is introduced to us by the modern world. Our ancestors were involved in activities that sustained nature. These activities involved the manufacturing of the products with the idea of maximum benefits, minimum wastage and disposing of the product in complete harmony with nature. In today's business world environmental issues play a major role. Today's societies are concerned with nature and environmental development. Business identifies these changes in its consumer behaviour and uses green marketing to meet consumer's expectations, solve environmental issues, have sustainable development and gain a competitive advantage. This paper discusses green marketing & its sustainability, its evolution, tools of the marketing mix of green marketing.
