MENTAL HEALTH AND LIFE SATISFACTION AMONG PROFESSORS AND DOCTORS

Abstract

The main aim of the present study is to find out level of mental health and life satisfaction among professors and doctors. It was hypothesized that level of mental health and life satisfaction will differ in respect to their type of profession. Total sample of the present study consist with 100 professionals (50 professors and 50 Doctors). Sample was selected from Ahmedabad city by using simple random system. Mental Health Scale was D J Bhatt and Geeta R Gida and Life satisfaction Scale which was developed by Q G Alam and R Srivastava was used for data collection. ‘t’ test used for data analysis. The finding was no significant difference. Finding saws that there is no significant difference of mental health and life satisfaction among professionals.
