Abstract

Chaman Nahal, an Indian Writer of unusual ability has established himself as a historical novelist in English. He published ‘The Weird-Dance and other stories in 1965. His My True Faces (1973) Azadi (1975), Into Another Dawn (1977) The English Queens (1979) and The Crown and the Loincloth (1981) offer domestic and tragic saga of man. His Azadi depicts clearly a tragic saga of partition and several horrors of the soul.
