Abstract

The social problem of beggary in India is not an outcome of their past life sins, but due to negligence to their rights as a citizens of India and lack of policies for their upliftment and rehabilitation. The severe poverty, availability of employment , lacking of education and self-awareness are some key causes for their deterioration. Most of the social problems including crime, uncleanliness, spread of some epidemic diseases are some effects of this social problems. So the proper rehabilitisation of this most neglected population may be proved as the solution to this social problems. Being Indians , they are also liable for having all the rights and facilities of the citizens as well.
