Abstract

In Begusarai district 'Kabar Lake' of Bihar is a vast natural water body. In this lake various types of fishes are found . Which is harvested in all the seasons through it has taken under wild life sanctuary. The A. testudineus exhibited mixed infection after rainy season. The parasitic fauna specially lelminthes were investigated in three fishes. Channa punctatus showed the occurrence of trematodes , nematodes and cestodes. In H fossilis cestodes were nil but Allocreadium handiai, matacercaria and Genarchopsis goppo were collected from hepatopancreas and body carity.
