The Earth is in trouble. So are we. The trouble is largely our own fault. We use energy too thoughtlessly, too wastefully and with too little imagination. The world’s leading experts now agree that burning fossil fuels - ccals , oil and gas – is slowly but relentlessly upsetting our climate, releasing carbon dioxide which traps heat closed to the Earth - the so – called ‘ greenhouse effect ‘ .
