Abstract

The COVID-19 pandemic has indeed wrought havoc with lives in general and businesses in particular. Businesses of all sizes and in every sector have suffered since different countries began initiating lockdown measures since March, 2020. This case here looks at a small business located in Canada, which had just commenced operations in November, 2019 and was just finding its feet in the market when the pandemic struck. How it managed to sustain the difficult days of the lockdown and post unlock measures were initiated with the help of digital marketing initiatives, makes for a fantastic case study. This case will bring highlight the different avenue of digital marketing available to businesses and the smart student would be able to reach his or her own conclusions on the pros and cons of each platform and technique.
