Abstract

Fish farming is an important and fast growing sector in Bihar. The economy of Bihar is mainly dependent on agriculture, animal husbandry and fisheries. The breeding rearing and transplantation of fish by artificial means is called pisciculture, in other words, fish farming or fish culture.
