GLOBAL ENGLISHIZATION: A NEW PARADIGM IN CORPORATE CULTURE

Abstract

This paper deals with a brief development of English Language as a “lingua franca” in the international business relationship and focus is on the change in the multinational corporate culture. English is a widely spoken language, acts as an indispensable ‘link’ language used not only for communicating with the outside world, but also used for commercial purpose at diverse nations. Word ‘global’ is a broad terminology refers to a language that is spoken universally, and is portrayed not just by the quantity of its local and second language speakers, yet in addition by its geological conveyance, and its utilization in worldwide associations and in political relations. English is not only connecting the world but also transforming corporate culture. As of now, the future of English Language stands inevitable in the world. And in the coming years, the demand of the English Language would be burgeoning in the corporate milieu. Thus, in this qualitative research an attempt has been made to discuss how English Language is indispensable in promoting corporate culture in the world. The use of English as the lingua franca is “corporate Englishization”. This paper examines how English is used visibly in the establishment of Business and apply a globalized perspective for analysis.
