Abstract
The census of India(2011) that the urban schedule caste literacy rate of Haryana is 69.78 percent. The literacy rate of urban Schedule caste population is low as compare general urban literacy rate i.e. 83.14. A low male literacy rate among Schedule caste is due to not economically sound, socially backward, lack of awareness. Rewari has the highest literacy 76.88 percent of urban and Fatehabad has lowest literacy 58.41 percent among urban schedule caste population.
