Abstract
Agriculture plays important role in economic development and it is the main source of generating state domestic product in many states of India. Agriculture in Bihar is the main occupation, Bihar economy is based on agriculture, employing 77% workforce. Bihar produces rice, wheat, maize, gram, red gram, sugarcane, potato & other vegetables. Despite registering higher economic growth, Bihar still remains at the bottom of economic growth among the states.
