Abstract
The goal of this research work is that the remarkable changes in the position of the women in free India. There is still a great divergence between the constitutional position and stark reality of deprivation and degradation. The aim of the research is to examine the impact of working and non- working women, among women on social freedom. also the impact of under graduate and post graduate educational qualification and post graduate married and unmarried Women / girl in Durg-Bhilai, aimed an effort to compare women's social freedom regarding profession, education and marital status. The study was conducted on 300 under graduate and post graduate women of Durg-Bhilai town, using The Women Social Freedom Scale (1987) developed by Bhusan as tool for the present study to conclude that there exists significant difference in social freedom of working and non- working women, and post graduate married and unmarried Women. But there exists no significant difference in social freedom under graduate and post graduate educational qualification.
