In recent decade, India has faced a drastic change in its technological process which has resulted in the changing pattern of living of people and it has affected their thinking as competition has increased in almost every field. The upcoming generation are expected to perform their best in all the relevant fields and it has affected them mentally. Stress and anxiety about the future is leading them to depression and among adolescents it has emerged as a major mental health issue. Being the most common disorder among school going children, psychiatric morbidity was found to be 29 percent among girls and 23 percent among boys (P, Jayanthi, 2015) which is an alarming situation and requires to be dealt with as early as possible.
