Abstract

Since years, we are, amongst one of the internationally renowned pharma corporations, involved in production and distribution of life-saving drugs. It is known that the business, we are in, is socially responsible in a way that if strict norms of preservation of ingredients subjected to human or automation error and /or if erroneous distribution chain causes unavailability(shortages) then the entire system collapses down giving a better entry level position to other corporations engaged in the same business. All these important factors are survival factors as they need prioritized attention. P3 system (Planning, Production, and Procurement) was the solution which was designed to safeguard against ‘Overs and Unders’.
