Abstract

Science education refers to teaching and learning of the ideas produced by the study of different subjects under it like Biology, Chemistry, and Physics. Teaching of Science should be in conjugation with education in such a way that the effectiveness of teaching and learning in science can be enhanced by application of ICT .Present century has witnessed a great progress in the field of science and technology which has led to extensive developments in the academic sector also. To cope with this growth in education sector, ICT i.e., Information and Communication Technology has a vital role to play. That is why the present study has emphasized to understand the impact of ICT on science learning on the basis of different researches a review has been made on various application of ICT in Science education, their Impact on Intradisciplinary areas of Science and problems militating against application of ICT in science education was highlighted.
