ROLE OF ICT IN TEACHING-LEARNING AND EVALUATION

Abstract

School is an important place for the early growth and development of the child. In this growth and development teachers and their teaching skills plays an important role. An effective teaching can enhance Childs’ ability to learn and their skills. ICT plays an important role in effective teaching learning and evaluation process. ICT is an integral part of modern education system. Teacher uses different kinds of ICT tools like: smartboard, colorful pictures, effective presentation of teaching aids, voice modulation etc. ICT helps the teacher to plan, implement and evaluate the teaching learning activities according to needs, interest and abilities of child because aim of education is to bring positive change in the behavior of students. It can also provide the means of gathering, connecting and analysing date about teaching and learning in ways that enable us to more accurately enable diagnose student need and evaluate progress. In this study the investigator had put light on the contribution of ICT in upgrading quality of teaching, learning and evaluation work.
