Abstract

The study was designed to identify and diagnose the students struggling with mathematics. Different tools and techniques were used during this study including Teacher Referral Form, Report Cards, Raven Coloured Progressive Matrices, Diagnostic test of Arithmetic Disorders, Checklist for the indicators of the mathematics learning disorders, and techniques like direct observation. The study was conducted on 929 third and fourth graders and 51 students were identified and diagnosed as mathematics learning disabled. The frequency of mathematics learning disabilities was found 5.48%.
