Abstract

The repeated terrorist attacks have changed and radically transformed social milieu. The social and cultural make-believe landscape of India has changed. This is reflected in contemporary writing. Terrorism which had been a hushed theme is now a considerable part of the Indian narrative post September 11 attacks and Mumbai terror attacks of 26/11. Indian writers have become more receptive and reactive to these terrorist attacks.
