Abstract

Valmiki represented a folklore culture and tradition during the society. The whole Ramayana is full of traditional facts and culture within the urban, rural and tribal form. The air was laden with the perfume of flowers and incense. Well laid out gardens, mango groves sporting places and theatres added beauty to the city, and the busy hum of its crowds of people, together with the sounds of bells, drums and other musical instruments, told of great social activity and domestic harmony.
