Abstract

Although intended to be a temporary response to the pandemic, the work from home now continues across the industries as a conscious decision by senior leadership of the organizations. However, work from home is fraught with many challenges that employees and employers have to deal with. One such challenge is distraction from work that affects the performance of employees. This paper discusses the various distractions at workplace and suggests steps to be taken by the employers for minimising employee’s distractions during work from home and concluded that the employers should understand what is distracting their employees and create a system to reduce it accordingly.
