Examination is a pivotal tool of education. Without examining a student, we cannot grade his/her performance. The tradition of conducting written examination came to a standstill because of covid 19 due to which schools and colleges were closed down and because of lock down imposed by the Government students were not able to come to college and therefore it became necessary to conduct online examination. Researcher will be conducting this research to find out the positive and negative impact of online examination. Inspite of the lockdown, the students did not lose their academic year and were able to give the online examination and went ahead in the next standard. Some students faced technical issues while giving online examination and were not able to submit the Answer paper on time. Students had lot of doubts in their minds whether their papers are submitted or not? Will I pass or fail? Will I get good marks? Will I lose a year? such were the questions that came into the minds of the students which were found by the researcher in the research paper
