Abstract

The purpose of the study was to analyse the comparative effect of conditioning and callisthenics programme on selected physiological variables. The subjects were 45 students from the middle school of Betul district from Madhya Pradesh. The subjects were untrained in sports. The subjects were equally assigned based upon random sampling to two experimental groups and one control group. These groups participated in conditioning programme and callisthenics programmes for eight weeks. The data on selected physiological variables of aerobic and anaerobic capacity were recorded before and at the end of the experimental period of eight weeks.
