Abstract

Dairy farming is a significant source of income and vital trail of subsistence to the small and marginal farmers and to the landless labourers also. Commercial dairy farming is playing a vital role in the economic development of the rural peoples throughout the country and where land resources are very limited and options of livelihood are limited too. The growth and development of dairy farming mainly depends on the infrastructural conveniences provide to the dairy farmers with proficient rewards to the produced milk through dairy cooperatives, milk societies and milk collection centres.
