Abstract

Foreign capital plays a constructive role in a country’s economic development. Foreigndirect investment (FDI) is regarded as a factor that drives economic growth (Wang, 2009). Many governments from developed and developing countries believe that FDI can help them get through stagnation and even circumvent the poverty trap (Brooks et al., 2010).
