LAND USE PATTERNS IN MALWA REGION OF PUNJAB: 2019

Abstract

The Land is a scant resource, whose supply is fixed for all useful purposes at the same time. The interest in land for different purposes is increasing continuously with the increase in the human population and financial development. The current study was conducted to analyze the land use elements in the Malwa region of Punjab state by utilizing information under 2019. Land use has designed by some few factors including size of human and livestock population, the interesting design, the technology in use, the cultural traditions, the location and capability of land, institutional factors like ownership pattern and rights and state regulation the social conventions, the area and ability of land, institutional elements like possession design what's more, rights and state guidelines. The land is the sole resource of living humankind which supports the planed, animal, and human life for giving them food and shelter. Man uses the land for different purposes like urban and industrial activities, settlements, etc. In this paper we described the pattern of land use in the Malwa region of Punjab under 2019.
